Privacy Policy
Last updated October 24, 2026
This policy says what FadeReady collects, why, who helps us run it, and how you can see, take or delete your information. It covers the FadeReady app (iPhone, Android, computer) and fadeready.com.
1. Who we are
FadeReady is a barbershop app made in Florida, United States. Questions about privacy: [email protected].
2. What we collect
Shop owners: name, email, phone, business name and type, shop address and hours, prices, and the shop's books, receipts and records they enter. Barbers: name, photo if they add one, work hours, services and pay settings. Clients: name, phone, the family members they add (first names only), bookings, favorite barber and styles, hair type if they pick one, chats with their shop, and receipts. Everyone: sign-in email or phone, language, and phone alert settings.
3. Your location
Only if you allow it, FadeReady uses your phone's location to tell you when to leave for your haircut and to check you in when you arrive at the shop. We save only the drive minutes, never a history of where you have been. You can turn location off at any time in your phone's settings.
4. Camera and photos
Only when you tap a button to take or pick a picture: receipts for the books, a barber's photo, the shop logo, style photos and papers. Nothing else on your phone is read.
5. How we use it
To run the app: bookings, the live line, alerts, chats, receipts, the shop's books and pay, and learning how long cuts really take so wait times are right. We do not sell your information, we do not show ads, and we do not use it for advertising.
6. Who sees it
Your shop: the owner and barbers see their own clients' names, phones, bookings and chats. Clients see only their own information and their shop's public details. Other shops never see your information. FadeReady's team looks at it only to help you or keep the app safe.
7. Companies that help us
Supabase stores the database and files (in the United States). Cloudflare runs fadeready.com. Apple, Google and Expo deliver phone alerts. OpenStreetMap shows maps and drive times. When they are turned on: Stripe handles card payments (we never see or store full card numbers), Twilio sends text codes, and Anthropic powers the AI helper's answers. Each one uses your information only to do that job for us.
8. Keeping it safe
Everything travels encrypted. Database rules let each person reach only what their role allows. The admin sign-in needs a second code. No system is perfect, so if something ever goes wrong we will tell the people affected.
9. How long we keep it
While your account is open. A shop's books, receipts and client records are kept for as long as the shop uses FadeReady, so the owner always has them for taxes. When you delete your account, your information is deleted as explained below.
10. See, take or delete your information
You can see and change your information in the app under Me (or Settings for owners). Owners can download all their data at any time. Anyone can delete their account in the app: Me, then "Delete my account". Clients: your name, phone, chats and favorites are deleted; past paid visits stay in the shop's books with no name, because the shop must keep its sales records. Barbers: your login, photo and phone are deleted; the shop keeps your name on past cuts and pay, because the law says it must keep pay records. Owners: every shop you own and everything in it is deleted, so download your data first. You can also email [email protected] to ask us to do any of this.
11. Children
Accounts are for people 13 and older. A parent can add their kids as family members with a first name, so the parent books and gets the alerts. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 in any other way.
12. Cookies and the website
fadeready.com keeps you signed in and remembers your language on your device. There are no advertising cookies. How-to videos load from YouTube only when you tap one.
13. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and tell you in the app before big changes take effect.
